Who are these instructions for?

This article is for a Person who needs to:

• create their CUR8 user login
• connect to existing CUR8 account and is trying to connect to that existing CUR8 account.
• this person may be your students, staff members, board of directors, box office staff, volunteers, etc. Anyone who needs to be connected to your organization to participate.

Quick Join Instructions:

Go to www.cur8.com/login - make sure you have the Join Code, and follow the directions to create yourself as a user and connect to an Organization.

You cannot create your own user account without having a Join Code to connect to the organization.

Detailed Instructions for Joining CUR8 with a Join Code

Go to www.cur8.com/login

• Enter the phone number or email address you'd like to use for login.
• Select Let's Go 
  • Once you're logged in, you can add the additional contact method as well.
  • Especially if you're affiliated with a school or with a high security domain we recommend using a phone number, or at least having it as an option.

Two Step Verification

• Before we create your account, we need to verify that the phone or email you entered is valid as this form of contact will be used for future logins.
• A 6 digit alphanumeric number is sent to either your phone or email, whichever you entered at login.
• Enter the code text into the verification box and select Submit.
• Once you've created your account with us, this is the same process for logging into CUR8 - you'll enter a form of contact information and receive a verification code

• Once you've submitted your Two Step Verification, you'll be prompted to select what you want to do.
• For creating a new CUR8 user using a Join Code, you'll want to select the first option.
• Enter the Join Code provided to you by the organization.
• Select Connect Me

Create Yourself as a User

• Enter your name.
  • If you're a parent/guardian of a child under 13, make sure to create your CUR8 user first, then you can create a dependent account.

Next,

• Enter your birthday
  • Select year first, then month, then date.
• Select Next
• You have the option of entering another form of contact.
• Make sure to agree to Terms and Conditions
• Select Join CUR8

Congratulations!

You've created your CUR8 user account and you are connected to your organization.

• You should be immediately directed into your Person Detail, which is essentially your CUR8 Profile.
• As a new user, you have no permission access for the organization or projects - if you need to have your permissions adjusted, please get with an admin associated with the organization.
