Before you begin, please ensure you are using CUR8 ticket stock. If you do not have CUR8 ticket stock, your tickets will not print correctly, as this ticket stock is exclusive to the CUR8 system. Tickets must be printed using CUR8 ticket stock. Otherwise, the size/scale may be off; the print may be jumbled, etc. You can order CUR8 ticket stock here.

Issue: You cannot print to the Dymo printer from your CUR8 account. Your computer likely needs to recognize the printer.

Possible Causes:

  • Please confirm you're using Chrome or Safari for your CUR8 account.
  • Your version of either Chrome or Safari may be an older version and need to be updated.
    • Please update your browser version to the latest version if needed.
  • Your operating system may be a more updated version.
    • Please check your operating system version and update it if needed.
  • One of the steps in the Dymo installation still needed to be completed.

After you verify that your operating system and browser are up-to-date, you may need to go through the installation process again to get your computer to recognize the Dymo printer. Most issues will resolve themselves once the correct software version for your OS is installed.

Dymo Ticket Printer Installation (LabelWriter 450 Turbo)

CUR8 Tip: Once you've made the connection, we recommend you never unplug your Dymo printer in the future because this will cause the connection to be cut, and complete reinstallation must be done.

Issue: You can print, but the print is jumbled, not aligned, or sized incorrectly.

Possible Causes:

  • Verify you're using the recommended printer software.
  • Remove the lid completely - toggle it back. You won't break it.
  • Ticket stock is fed from behind the printer. It must be face down (MTI Logo Up), with the ticket stub first, and it will feed through the front of the printer.
  • If you don't know if the printer is grabbing the paper, try pressing the button on the front to start the feed roller.

If the tickets have jumbled text or text is printing on top of other text, this means the correct software was not installed, or the ticket stock is not CUR8 ticket stock.
