These are instructions for installing the Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo printer.

Before you begin, please ensure you are using CUR8 ticket stock. If you do not have CUR8 ticket stock, your tickets will not print correctly, as this ticket stock is exclusive to the CUR8 system. Tickets must be printed using CUR8 ticket stock. Otherwise, the size/scale may be off; the print may be jumbled, etc. You can order CUR8 ticket stock here.

Important:

Do not plug your Dymo Printer into your computer until instructed below. If the printer is currently plugged into your computer, please unplug it.

Software Download

Depending on your local internet speeds, you'll need to download the appropriate software, which will take 3 to 4 minutes. For browsers, it is recommended to use Safari or Chrome for a Mac and Chrome for Windows.

Select your software download below.

Software Installation

  • Once the download is complete, install the software.
  • If given an option, choose Express Install, not Custom.
  • Still, do not plug in your printer.
  • The installation will also take approximately three to four minutes.
  • Toward the end of the installation, it will tell you to plug in your printer. Do Not Plug In Your Printer.
  • Once the installation is complete, select Finish.
  • Quit your browser altogether, then open it back up.
  • You can now plug your printer into both the power and computer.
  • Restart your computer with the printer plugged in.

CUR8 Tip: Once you've successfully made the connection, we recommend never unplugging your Dymo printer in the future, as this will cut the connection and requires a complete reinstallation.

Ticket Stock Tips:

  • Ticket stock is fed ticket stub first, face down.
