Prepare Your Project
Before you enable ShoutOuts, make sure:
- Your organization has logged-in CUR8 users.
- These users are assigned to Roles within the project.
Without assigned users and roles, ShoutOuts cannot be activated. Here are some articles to help get started. Also, please reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance!
Step 1: Enable ShoutOuts on Your Project
- Select your project poster and then select Edit Project.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Show Management Features. This will expand additional features beyond Ticketing that you can enable.
- You'll want to look for the ShoutOuts section and check the box to the left of Enable Shoutouts.
Note: If the ShoutOuts text is grayed out, it means no People have been assigned to roles on this project. Assign People to Roles first, then return to enable ShoutOuts.
Step 2: Set ShoutOut Pricing and Fees
Once ShoutOuts are enabled on the project, you can:

Set the price for each ShoutOut.
- ShoutOuts priced from $1.00 to $3.99 include a $0.50 token fee per ShoutOut.
- For ShoutOuts priced at $4.00 and above, a $1 token fee applies per ShoutOut.
- Choose who pays the fee: whether to pass the ShoutOut fee to the customer or have the organization absorb the token fee, similar to how CUR8 ticketing fees.
Step 3: Save and Publish
After configuring pricing and fees, select Save and Publish in the lower right corner.
ShoutOuts are Ready for Purchase!
Once published, attendees can start purchasing ShoutOuts during your ticket sales.
