Onboarding Handouts: Help People Join Your Organization and Get Started with CUR8

CUR8 now has a new tool to make it easier to get people into CUR8 and connected to your organization, with less work for admins and a smoother onboarding experience for everyone.

Onboarding Handouts are printable, shareable one-page PDFs that include your organization's Join Code and a QR code that is already configured with your organization's information. You can print them, email them, or display them wherever your people can easily scan the QR code.

 

Find Your Onboarding Handouts

From your organization:

  1. Select the Organization Menu.
  2. Choose Preferences/Settings.
  3. Select Options.
  4. At the top of the page, find the Join/Invite section.

 

Here you'll find your organization's:

  • Join Code URL
  • Join Code QR Code
  • Option to change your Join Code
  • The new printable Onboarding Handouts

 

Choose the Right Handout

There are two onboarding handouts available:

  • Age 13 and older: For people who are 13 or older and will create their own CUR8 account.
  • Under 13: For children under 13 who will be added to CUR8 as a dependent by a parent or guardian.

Each handout includes your organization's Join Code and a QR code that is already filled in with your organization's information. Below is an example of a PDF Handout.

 

 

How the QR Code Works

When someone scans the QR code on the handout, they are taken directly into the appropriate CUR8 onboarding flow. They don't need to manually enter your Join Code or search for your organization.

 

For people 13 and older

They'll be guided through the process of:

  1. Entering their phone number and/or email address. We encourage entering both.
  2. Completing age verification.
  3. Completing their CUR8 person detail page where they can add their profile picture and bio.

 

For children under 13

The parent or guardian will first create their own CUR8 account and then add the child as a dependent. The onboarding flow guides them through the process without requiring them to manually find or enter your organization's Join Code. Once in the process, they'll need to go to shared contacts to add their dependent(s).

Once the child is added, the guardian can complete the child's person details, including their profile picture and bio.
