How to Enable/Disable Refunds for your Organization

The choice to allow or disable refunds is at your organization's sole discretion. Refunds apply to all projects collectively—you cannot enable refunds for some projects while disabling refunds for other projects.

 

How to Enable/Disable Refunds

  • Log in to CUR8 and select the account main menu in the top left corner.
  • Go to Preferences/Settings and select Options.
  • Scroll down to the bottom to view the Transaction section
  • Look for Allow Refunds.
  • Choose Yes or No to allow or not allow refunds.

Please remember that your refund selection is global across all projects.

 


 

If Refunds Are Enabled for the Organization (Yes)

  • Attendees can process their own refunds through the email they received containing their ticket packet.
  • CUR8 staff can issue refunds upon request.
  • CUR8 Fees: Refunds apply only to the ticket's face value. CUR8 fees are nonrefundable. If your organization chooses to refund CUR8 fees, the Organization will be responsible for those fees.

 

If Refunds Are Disabled for the Organization (No)

  • Attendees cannot process their own refunds.
  • Only Organization Admins can process refunds.
  • CUR8 staff will not issue refunds for your Organization. Our staff will redirect your attendees to contact your organization.
  • Attendees asking CUR8 for a refund will be directed to contact your organization regarding refund requests.
  • CUR8 Fees: Refunds apply only to the ticket's face value. CUR8 fees are nonrefundable. If your organization chooses to refund CUR8 fees, the Organization will be responsible for those fees.
