What does it cost to use CUR8? Set up fees, recurring fees, etc.

While there aren't any recurring fees, no setup fees, contracts, deposits, or subscriptions to use CUR8, there are per-ticket fees.

  • Fees for live or in-person projects:
    • $1.00 per ticket + 3.5% of the entire transaction
  • Fees for streamed projects:
    • $2.50 per ticket + 3.5% of the entire transaction.

 

You have two options for how to handle ticketing fees on CUR8.

  1. Your Organization can choose to incur our per-ticket fees, and your organization can pay them for your attendees
  2. Your Organization can pass fees to your attendees during ticket purchase transactions.

 

These are Always Free with CUR8

  • In-person, complimentary tickets are always free.
  • In-person bulk tickets and in-person reservation tickets are always free.
  • Your local cash and check sales are free as well.

 

CUR8 Credit Fee on Ticketing

We have new features! One is called Film Review and the other is the ability to send email/text Notifications to the other users on your account. These features use CUR8 Credits.

  • 1 CUR8 Credit = 1 minute of Film Review
    1 CUR8 Credit = 1 message

To offset the cost of CUR8 Credits, there is now an optional additional fee to pass along to your attendees. You do not have to use this fee and this option can be toggled off when creating your project under the Project Fees section.

When the CUR8 Credit fee is ON, this option would pass on an additional $0.50 per ticket fee to your attendees. For each ticket sold with this additional fee, your Organization would receive 20 CUR8 Credits.

Here is what our per ticket fee would be like with the additional $0.50 CUR8 credit fee added on to your attendee’s ticket purchase:

  • For live and in-person projects:
    • $1.50 + 3.5% of the entire transaction 
  • For streamed projects:
    • $3.00 per ticket + 3.5% of the entire transaction 

 

Does our Organization have to use the new features + CUR8 Credits?

No. But we do think you'll love them!

You are not required to use Film Review and email/text Notifications though they are very useful tools if you intend to use our project management features. To use Film Review and Notifications without passing the CUR8 Credit fee on to your customers, your organization can purchase CUR8 Credits a la carte.

 

Do all my Projects and Events have to have the same fee settings?

No. You can set fees per project.

You can have any combination of fees on each project. You can opt to pass your ticket fees to customers on larger projects and include the CUR8 Credit fee. You can have another project that is for the community and is free for attendees, and you can choose to absorb the ticket fees for that specific event.
