Examples of Using Groups
Volunteer
You'd like to organize all of your volunteer Roles from previous events. Your Roles may look like
- Parent Volunteers 2020
- Parent Volunteers 2021
- Parent Volunteers 2022
- Parent Volunteers 2023
- Community Volunteers
- Professional Volunteers
You create a Group called "All Volunteers." You assign the associated Roles to that Group. When communicating with all past volunteers, you only have to select one group. In the future, when you create a Volunteer 2024 role, you can add them to your "All Volunteers" group.
Scenes
You can use Groups to organize scene breakdowns and assign Roles to Respective Scenes.
- Act 1, Scene 1
- Musical Number (name)
- Act 1, Scene 2
Then, you can schedule by scene (Groups), knowing the right people will be scheduled.
